Prince Photography of Georgetown, Texas continues a long running reputation in central Texas for producing outstanding photography at extremely competitive pricing. Prince Photography was founded in 1934 in St. Mary's, Ohio by my grandfather, Alton Early Prince. His wide spread success led to additional studios in Michigan. Prince Photography of Georgetown focuses our craft on three specific areas. Although much has changed in photography over the last 70 years, there are many things that remain the same. The family portrait continues to be the primary visual legacy families leave for future generations. Digital cameras and one-hour photo labs make it very easy to take and get pictures, but capturing that great family portrait, where the compostion and lighting are just right and everything just seems to fit into place perfectly, is as difficult today as it was in the 1930's.

Our many years of working in the central Texas area gives us knowledge of many great 'hidden' locations for family portraits. We want to ensure all of our family portraits are unique to them and hold their own special place in time. Although location is important, so is the way we complete our compositions. There is nothing worse than what I refer to as the 'Grand Canyon' effect. You get your portrait back from the photographer and the family is secondary to some spectacular scene. The star of professional photography is always the family. We feel we do an excellent job of complementing families with very nice surroundings, but the the family is always the king with Prince Photography.
